Gladiolus Calianthus (Acidanthera) has beautiful sweetly-scented white blooms with irregular purple markings at their centers. These bulbs bloom later than many other summer-flowering bulbs, bearing in late summer or autumn up to 10 sweetly-scented blooms. They require a well-drained soil and a warm spot in the garden. Dig and store corms in the dark for winter in zones 3-7. Also known as “Fragrant Glad” or “Abyssinian Glad.”
